About Us
We are lifelong Texans from Burkburnett, Texas. For those of you who are not sure exactly where that is, it is ten miles north of Wichita Falls. We moved to Georgetown at the end of 2000 and immediately started our love affair with the town and the people. This part of Texas is just beautiful, and the people of Georgetown are so friendly. What's not to love?
Freddie began earning money as a young boy bailing and hauling hay alongside his grandpa when he was eight for $.10 a bale. His grandpa was a fixer upper, and he taught Freddie a lot about how to figure things out and fix things.
Freddie worked for Brack Preston managing his farm, ranch land, oil leases, and personnel for thirteen years. He then went to work for StanleyWorks where he worked as a lead maintenance mechanic, production manager, and overseas buyer of equipment. He worked at Applied Materials as a production manager and traveled overseas to trouble shoot problems in equipment and set up and staff a plant in Singapore.
Freddie has always been a fixer upper, having completely remodeled our homes from top to bottom. He does maintenance on our older family member’s homes, and loves to do it as it enables them to live more independently. He also does projects for others that just don’t have the time to “get to it”.
It has always been his dream to go into business for himself. He chose the handyman business because he loves to work with his hands, and he wants to help others improve their living environment.
